The faculty of the Doctorate in Psychology UCN-UTA met today around 9 a.m., through the zoom platform, with the members of the faculty of the University of Talca, to carry out the first approach of this new alliance.
The meeting was attended by 17 participants from the Universidad Católica del Norte, Universidad de Tarapacá and Universidad de Talca. It lasted about an hour and the main objective of this was to know the profile of each member, as well as the lines of research of their doctorates. In addition, topics for future collaboration were discussed, such as talks or optional modules to be taught.
Alfonzo Urzúa, Director of the Doctorate in Psychology at the UCN, said that “this is an initial meeting, in order to know what each of the colleagues from the different universities are working on, with a view to making collaborations between the programs”.
On the other hand, the Director of the PhD program in Psychology at the University of Talca, Daniel Nuñez, highlights this instance as gratifying. “My evaluation of the activity is very positive, for our doctorate, collaborating with UCN-UTA represents an opportunity to share knowledge and skills that can contribute to doctoral training processes,” said the director.
