The PhD in Psychology of the University of Talca, together with the University Medical Center of the University of Gröningen, Holland, have organized the course: “Introduction to research with single subjects in psychology: Theory, design and analysis”. The PhD in Psychology of the Catholic University of Maule has also participated in this activity.
This three-day workshop will be held between January 17 and 19 at the Faculty of Psychology, and aims to provide basic knowledge about this type of design, as well as tools that researchers can use if they want to carry out such a study and analyze the resulting time series data. The workshop aims to provide a starting point for designing, conducting, and analyzing single-subject (repeated) studies with outpatient assessment methodology. While single-subject experimental designs will also be briefly addressed, the workshop will focus on single-subject observational designs and analyses.
